Watching Rock of Love with the bros...sick.

People say that the best things in life are free, those people are obviously stealing cable...If it is a Sunday night, the best thing to do is gather a small, yet intense crew, and hop on the emotional roller coaster that is the "Tool Academy"/"Rock of Love Bus" Celeb-reality hour on VH1

...nothing can make you feel better about your life like taking an hour out of your day to compare your life to how bad Brett Michaels, lead singer of Poison's life is...

...humbling, isn't it?

it's better to be safe/have a large personal collection of dance music, than sorry...

If you ever find yourself DJ-ing you will learn that sometimes, when you walk into a party the guy running it will have "a couple last second things" to tell you. Usually those last second things will have to do with the location of the DJ booth, or something about getting paid, or expectations for the crowds size...

and sometimes, those few minor details will include things like, "oh yeah, it's a rave theme so could you play at least an hour of techno?"

...it is during these times you will be the most pumped about having a secret love of French Electro and old school dance music, and with a little luck, not only will you be able to rock the party, but you will be able to do it to all of your secret favourite songs...those nights will be awesome.

February 6..a night that will live in frat infamy

So this one night I laid down to take a fifteen minute nap that ended up lasting somewhere close to 4 hours... I awoke close to 1 a.m., just in time for my bro's birthday party/After hours DJ set...The party it self was relatively rad, but the matching hoodies worn by the main party crew were even more rad...bringing the total radness level of the night to a nine or ten on the 'things that are rad scale...for those who don't know, that's a pretty solid 'radness' ranking.

There must be better ways to kill time...

SO the internet's a big place right? There must be like, a billion things I could find to read or do or learn that could fill up all of the free time that have on my hands during the average day...

wrong.

I usually just end up you know, playing tony hawk pro skater and watching a movie, the little random things that make each day interesting can get lost in the daily routine.



That's why I've decided to keep a photo-by-photo document of my semester. I'm not the first person to try this, there are communities dedicated to similar projects...
